The annual Conference of the County Investment Academy is slated for June 28-30 at the Embassy Suites Denton Convention Center.
The annual event brings together investment officers, economists and other experts to discuss the leading influences on the current economy and timely trends in investing. This training is open to all county officials and staff who want to learn more about county investment operations. County Investment Academy members will earn 15 hours of continuing education by attending. Accountants, auditors, treasurers, clerks, commissioners and tax assessor-collectors may also earn credit toward mandatory continuing education requirements.
The County Investment Academy is a cooperative partnership between the Texas Association of Counties and the McCoy College of Business Administration at Texas State University.
Register by June 6 to qualify for the early bird registration fee of $225. A special one-day rate of $125 is available for those who wish to attend Tuesday sessions only.
