LAST LOOK

1901 McLennan County Courthouse.

The dome inside the 1901 McLennan County Courthouse in Waco caught the eye of TAC County Relations Officer Rick Avery, who snapped this photo the last time he visited (prepandemic). The courthouse, designed in Beaux Arts style, is on the National Register of Historic Places and was designed by J. Riely Gordon.

County officials and employees (and any other Texas resident) can submit a photo to be considered for Last Look. Email your high-resolution photo to Managing Editor Liz Carmack, lizc@county.org.
